ARTIST

About

Passionate about Art and Textiles, especially of the woven kind, artist Fran White began her creative journey as a weaver.

More recently, as Fran has transitioned into semi-retirement, she has been rediscovering her love of painting.

Blog

Fran’s artistic practice is inseparable from her everyday life, her experiences, her reading and her dreams. All this is reflected in her blog where she tells about how she works and how she lives.

“What does one prefer? An art that struggles to change the social contract, but fails? Or one that seeks to please and amuse, and succeeds?”

— Robert Hughes The Shock of the New —
